The Desert is Harsher – A New Book

EACA member Phebe Macrae has published a book of essays, The Desert is Harsher Than I Imagined and Other musings:  Musings from Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Writes Phebe, “After retiring from a legal career with the City of New York, I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico with my husband and our dog. These musings, written between 2019 and 2023, run the gamut from my observations on the landscape and culture of the southwest to exploring the ideas I encountered in books, podcasts, and the people I met.
