The 2026 Eldorado Studio Tour™ Preview Gallery Opening Reception kicked off Studio Tour weekend in wonderful fashion, bringing together artists, neighbors, friends, and visitors for an evening that truly celebrated the creative spirit of Eldorado.
Held Friday evening, September 18, the Preview Gallery was filled with an enthusiastic crowd eager to get the first look at artwork from the artists participating in the 34th Annual Eldorado Studio Tour™. With one piece representing each participating artist, the gallery offered visitors a remarkable snapshot of the range of creativity found throughout our community—from painting, photography, and sculpture to ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, mixed media, and more.
But the artwork was only part of what made the evening so memorable. Guests enjoyed great food, live music, lively conversation, and the chance to reconnect with friends and neighbors while meeting many of the artists behind the work. The gallery was buzzing throughout the evening, and the strong turnout was a wonderful reminder of just how much support there is for the arts in Eldorado.
Most importantly, the reception felt like a true community celebration. Eldorado was represented beautifully—not only by the extraordinary work on the walls and throughout the gallery, but by the many people who came together to support our artists and welcome visitors to our community.
Events like the Preview Gallery Opening Reception don’t happen without a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank you goes to the volunteers, organizers, artists, musicians, food contributors, and everyone else who helped bring the evening together. And, of course, thank you to everyone who attended and helped fill the gallery with such wonderful energy.
The Opening Reception was the perfect beginning to a busy and exciting Studio Tour weekend, as visitors headed out Saturday and Sunday to meet artists in their studios and experience firsthand where the art is made.
