🖼️ General Information

Q: What is the Eldorado Studio Tour?
A: The Eldorado Studio Tour is New Mexico’s largest and longest-running studio tour, featuring over 100 artists across more than 60 studios in Eldorado at Santa Fe. Visitors can explore artists’ workspaces, view art in a variety of mediums, and purchase directly from the creators.

Q: When does the 2025 Studio Tour take place?
A: The 33rd Annual Studio Tour will be held September 20–21, 2025, with the Preview Gallery Opening Reception on Friday, September 19, from 5–7 PM.

Q: Where does the tour happen?
A: Studios are located throughout the Eldorado at Santa Fe community, just southeast of Santa Fe, NM. Maps and directions are available in the printed catalog, as a downloadable PDF, and on our interactive online map.

🎨 Visiting & Participation

Q: How do I plan my tour?
A: Start at the Preview Gallery, where you’ll see one piece from each participating artist. Then, use the catalog or the Toureka app to choose your must-see studios.

Q: Is there an admission fee?
A: No, the Studio Tour and Preview Gallery are free and open to the public.

Q: Can I buy art directly from the artists?
A: Yes! One of the highlights of the Studio Tour is purchasing work directly from the artist in their studio.

Q: Are children welcome?
A: Absolutely. Families are encouraged to attend and explore the studios together.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Policies vary by studio. Some artists welcome pets, while others may prefer you leave them at home. Look for posted signs or ask at each studio or ask the artist if pets are welcome.

📍 Logistics

Q: Where do I get a catalog or map?
A: Catalogs are available at the Preview Gallery and online as a PDF download. You can also explore all studios on the interactive map on our website or download and install the Toureka app on your phone.

Q: Where should I park?
A: Parking is available at each studio. Please follow signs and be considerate of the neighborhood.

Q: Is food available during the tour?
A: Food is not provided at studios, but the Eldorado area has several restaurants and cafes you can enjoy between stops.

🖌️ Artist Information

Q: How can I participate as an artist?
A: To join the Studio Tour, you must be a current EACA member in good standing and live in the geographic area of Eldorado (within the three main entrances). Applications open each spring.

Q: Do I have to show art in my own home?
A: No. Many artists share studios. In fact, shared studios often receive more visitors.

Q: What kinds of art are included?
A: A wide range of media are represented, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, photography, textiles, wood, glass, and more.
