I’m Susan Short, welcome to my playground. My art is a fascination with the everyday. A cup of coffee, an old car, a single daisy. See the familiar with fresh eyes. Chaos lives in the movement of brushstrokes, in the way colors clash and complement. My use of color isn’t restrained. It’s deliberate, wild and unapologetic. I want my art to be about feeling. To find beauty in the mess, and celebrate the untamed vibrancy of life.
