From the first crack of a plate, I had found my medium. Ceramic shards arranged in a painterly fashion illustrate the natural world as I envision it. Being a self-taught artist, I continually learn as I go along. The spontaneity of my approach to pique-assiette mosaics, or "stolen from dishes," has attracted a wide variety of commissions over the years. From reflecting pools at Cheekwood Botanical Garden to a sea of mosaic whales at the Martha's Vineyard Museum. Workshops as the first visiting artist to The Studios Key West. Custom created allegorical wall murals and back splashes to portraiture of loved ones, feline or otherwise.
