Jan Shana Cohen

Ms. Cohen is a painter and sculptor. She has resided in New Mexico for fifty years, but is originally from New York City. As a painter she has exhibited her art work at the New Mexico Museum of Art, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Santa Fe Art Institute, Site Santa Fe, Museum of International Folk Art, and the Festival of the Cranes at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. She is the recipient of a Fellowship Award in Painting from the Wurlitzer Foundation of Taos NM.  As a sculptor/craftswoman her past clients include; The Santa Fe Opera, Opera Theater of  St. Louis, New York City Ballet, New York Metropolitan Opera, Martha Graham Dance Company, Walt Disney Studios, artist Robert Indiana, and the Rolling Stones.
