Heidi Vogel

I paint in both watercolor and oil, drawing inspiration from birds, wildlife, and the landscapes of New Mexico. My work explores the interplay of light and color in both plein air and studio settings. Animals often inhabit my paintings, where I strive to capture not only their form, but their spirit and presence. I hope my work invites viewers to experience light, color, and the natural world in a fresh and thoughtful way. I am a member of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, and my work has been accepted into juried exhibitions in Alaska, at the New Mexico Art League in Albuquerque, and at the Old Church Fine Arts Show in Corrales.
