Stephanie Levy

I grew up in New Orleans with a fascination for people’s faces, masks, and personal adornment. Now, making beads, jewelry, and small sculpture in my studio, I feel connected with other beadmakers around the world who create these small, humble, basic units of ancient trade. We are connected in the circle of creation like the circles of bracelets and necklaces, connected like the people who buy and wear my work. My hope is that people have as much fun wearing my jewelry as I have making it.
