Roxanne Turner

Roxanne Turner is a mixed media artist with a BFA in Printmaking. Her latest work includes eco-dyed silk wall hangings and scarves, and Wild West cigar box assemblages. Going beyond formal training to explore new media has led her to create work that is less derivative and more original. Eco-dying with plants yields unpredictable magical results. The cigar boxes present Wild West myths with a unique, at times irreverent twist. She is most interested in what she hasn't done yet.
