As a child, a real treat was sorting through Grandma’s button jars or collecting interesting rocks from any field or shore. My fascination with combining colors and patterns has continued. I now use tiny seed beads to create beaded cylinders in my attempt to imitate my mother’s beloved Venetian glass necklace. I combine cylinders of various colors and patterns in my necklaces and bracelets, and intersperse beautiful glass lampwork beads to enhance the design.
