Paula Selzer

Paula Selzer is an award-winning artist originally from Dallas. She was trained as a photographer, but also works with mixed media and creates assemblage “drawers” with found objects. Her work frequently combines birds, humorous elements, and antique/vintage components. As a writer (she is the author of Adolphe Gouhenant, a biography about Dallas’s first photographer), she often incorporates the written word, and hints at idiomatic expressions in her work.
