Molly Elkind

Molly Elkind's work uses paper weaving and collage to depict the interlacement of landscape and wildlife, specifically songbirds. She investigates how the flickering now-you-see-them-now you-don’t quality of birds can be seen in the interaction of image and woven texture. Molly is thrilled by the beauty of our natural world. But she is deeply worried and grieving the threats our environment faces here and everywhere.
