Marilyn Wightman

Marilyn Wightman does much of her work plein air and her studio work is often inspired by plein air studies. The neutral colors and textures of the southwest landscape are intertwined to reflect the serenity and delight she finds in the Santa Fe area. She received an art education degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH and has taken a variety of workshops and classes to extend her knowledge of pastel painting. She is represented by Tresa Vorenberg Goldmsmiths in Santa Fe.
