Brian Commerford

My work expresses the spiritual qualities of the animals and birds by means of composition, color. I use a lot of close-ups because I want a fairly intense experience, such as gentleness, joy, and love, to be felt by the onlooker. I received my art education at the California College of Arts & Crafts and Sonoma State University, where I received a B.A. in Art Studio. I follow the teachings of Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda, and share an interest in the Native American medicine of the animals.
