We are located in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association (EACA) has been in existence for over 30 years. Started by a small group of local artists in 1990 who banded together to launch the first studio tour. The non-profit association has grown to include more than 150 artists, and provides a forum for artists in the Eldorado community to share ideas, expand their knowledge, build relationships with other artists, and promote the arts in the community.
The group is run by members who volunteer their time to offer educational meetings, Shop Talks and a life drawing group, as well as other activities and events. The EACA also sponsors the Eldorado Studio Tour in May and the Eldorado Fall Show each year to provide a venue for artists living in the Eldorado community to show and sell their work. The Eldorado Studio Tour is the oldest and largest in the state of New Mexico, with artists opening their home studios to display and sell their artwork, representing a wide spectrum of media. The EACA Fall Art Show is held as a group show, providing an opportunity to see and to buy the work of numerous artists in a single venue. Through generous donations of participating artists, we support local organizations including El Dorado Fire and Rescue Service, Vista Grande Public Library, El Dorado Community School, and the Ken and Patty Adam Senior Center.
Since 2003, the Eldorado Studio Tour and the Fall Show participants have donated nearly $80,000 to local community organizations.
The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Fall Show is an opportunity to see the work of many member artists at one venue. It’s held in a single venue, and lately that venue has been in the city of Santa Fe to open our art to a larger audience.
