Medium: Root of a native Apache Plume and very old bark of native Juniper. To me this piece has the feel of an ancient snag struggling to keep it's hold on some wind blown crag in any of hundreds of spots
throughout New Mexico.

I continue to be quietly amazed that the Apache Plume can send out its roots in New Mexico's difficult soil in search of a drop or two of the ever
elusive water and do it with such grace. What I hope to do is to give this graceful beauty a place to show
itself.
