Handcrafted, Wood fired Micaceous Clay Cookware and more.

Each piece is made of 100% natural New Mexican micaceous clay. The mica is what gives each piece it's distinctive sparkle. They all start with hand-rolled coils which are pressed together, shaped and dried. Then they're scraped, sanded, polished and burnished, followed by traditional style pit firing, which creates the black and silver fireclouds. Through variation and movement the shapes express my interpretation of the simple elegance of the traditional forms seen throughout the southwest.
