The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association (EACA) is a non-profit volunteer organization providing opportunities for artists in the Eldorado community to grow and thrive. Membership in the EACA is open to anyone who is interested in the arts. You can become a member by completing the application form and submitting the annual $15 membership fee.
Annual Memberships are valid through December 31st of each year. All members receive an email invitation/reminder to renew their membership at the beginning of each year. Memberships paid between November 1 and December 31 are also valid through the following year. There are, however, limitations on who may participate in the Eldorado Studio Tour and Eldorado Fall Show.
To participate in the annual Studio Tour and the Fall Show, members must live in one of the subdivisions that are accessed from the three major entrances into Eldorado on the west side of Highway 285. If you have questions or would like to be part of the next tour or show, please contact: email@example.com. Studio Tour applications are generally sent out to all active members in late December. Fall Tour applications are generally sent out to active members in early August.

Meetings are generally held on the last Thursday of the month 6 to 7 times a year at 7:00pm. They are informative, social and educational, many times featuring an artist’s work and techniques. Meetings are publicized a month in advance in the newsletter.
Shop Talk is our educational event for members. It is usually held on a Wednesday morning 5 to 6 times a year. The programs reflect the broad interests and talents of our members. Besides visiting the studios of members and hearing a talk about their process we have also visited museums, local art exhibits, the backstage tour of Santa Fe Opera and more. Dates and times are announced int the newsletter.
EACA sponsors a drop-in life drawing session that is open to all for a fee per session. The Life Drawing Group meets weekly on Mondays in Eldorado. A model is provided.
EACA members receive an electronic newsletter with information about upcoming meetings, events and opportunities. We also share news submitted from our members regarding their exhibits, shows, awards, and honors. Supporting the efforts of our fellow members is an important part of our mission.
As a volunteer-run organizations there are always opportunities for members to get involved. Volunteering with the EACA is a great way to get to know other artists in the Eldorado community while having a fun and rewarding experience.
