After a move to
Taos from Los Angeles in 1980 my paintings became informed by
the rich natural environment of northern New Mexico. Since then
landscape elements have continued to be an inspiration.
Abstraction and representation are the interchangeable warp and
weft of my compositions in which I incorporate bold design,
expressive use of color, patterned surface and the spirit of
movement.
