Photomontage: Rethinking Natural and Architectural Icons

I am interested in icons, especially for how they can be manipulated. To that end, I work to create photographs with a mysterious dimension, a seamless visual ambiguity between the real and imaginary. While the technique I use, photomontage, isn't new, the digital darkroom enables the possibilities my work depicts.
